BMX Australia through its Principal Partner, Cycling Australia, is pleased to announce a partnership with Subaru. The agreement will see expanded coverage of the National Championships and Champbikx Series / Probikx Tour.
BMXA President Barry Knight said he was delighted by the announcement today that sees the sport gain further television access through dedicated programs on SBS (Special Broadcasting Services).
“The support of Subaru will allow BMX to showcase its premier national events and athletes to a wider audience at a time when cycling is growing in popularity.
“The Subaru BMX Australia National Championships will be a feature of the television package to be aired on SBS, as will regular programming of the Champbikx Series and Probikx Tour. Our athletes, clubs and sport will gain far reaching exposure of the excitement and thrill of BMX a broad cycling and sports audience”.
Subaru Australia General Manager Marketing, Andrew Caie said “Subaru will work to build the profile of the sport at the elite end nationally, by ensuring that its key events are telecast and well promoted.
